This may seem like a strange thing to boast about on first glance, but did you know that med spa treatments like Botox and other fillers have to have a trained and certified medical professional to oversee them?
While there are many other med spas in town that offer treatments, there are quite a few who do not have the necessary certifications to do the treatments on their own. This requires them to request the services of a certified medical professional. While this still insures a proper treatment is create conflicts with scheduling, and can affect the price of treatments as well.
Having our own in house providers not only allows us to have an efficient schedule and affordable pricing, but since we have our own dermatologist, we can provide classic med spa rejuvenation treatments and health-related skin treatments.

Meet our Providers
Dr. Benjamin Carter
Dr. Benjamin Carter was raised in St. George and attended Dixie College and the University of Utah (Spanish major) prior to moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for medical school. He attended the Medical College of Wisconsin (2002-2006) where he was recognized for his academic excellence with his election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in 2005. He completed dermatology residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin (2007-2010).
Allie Blazzard
Allie Blazzard is a Nurse Practitioner and co-owner of Riverside Medical Arts. Allie has been performing cosmetic injections full time since 2005. Allie trains privately and is a national trainer for Galderma Aesthetics. She also trained for several years for Allergan. She’s participated in advisory boards with Allergan and Galderma as part of their expert faculty. Allie and her husband, Andy, have four beautiful children. They reside full time here in Southern Utah.

Do St George Med Spa Treatments Hurt?
St George Med Spa treatments, like Botox and other fillers involve methods that may cause different sensations such as small pinches, warmth, and stinging. However, Riverside Medical Arts uses various numbing agents and cooling devices to minimize discomfort.
How long do results last
The duration of these treatments differs from one another. Botox treatments last between 3 to 4 months while fillers maintain their effects from 6 months to 1 year and laser treatments produce enduring results when patients follow a suitable skincare routine.
is there downtime after procedures?
While it is minimal, there are some procedures which may require downtime or other important restrictions to the patients regular routine (e.g. avoiding direct sunlight, makeup, etc.). Our staff will discuss any possible downtime that your chosen procedures may require during your consultation.
Can treatments be combined in one visit?
Yes. Depending on the nature of the treatments you have chosen, it is possible that some of them may be performed in the same sitting. Our staff will show you which treatments can be safely combined during your consultation.
Are Med Spa St George treatments safe for all skin types?
Yes, though some treatments are known to be more effective for certain types of skin. Most lasers and peels, for example, are suitable for darker skin tones with some exceptions. At our St George Med Spa, we insure that our clients receive the best care for their skin by implementing a consultation prior to any performed procedures.
